Mike BolsoverManaging Director and CEO
Mike is a co-founder of Silver Heritage. Mike was born in Hong Kong, and educated in England and the United States. Mike has an in-depth understanding of Asian gaming operations and previously worked for online gaming operator Victor Chandler in the trading and business development departments from 1999 to 2003. Mike became an executive director of Silver Heritage in 2005 and was appointed CEO in 2008. In 2015 Mike was voted one of Asia’s Top 50 most influential people in the Asian gaming industry (Asian Gaming Magazine). Mike is also a member of the 2016 Class of 40 under 40 (Global Gaming Business), and received a G2E Emerging Leader Scholarship in conjunction with Innovation Group. Mike holds a degree in Finance and Marketing from the Roberto C. Goizueta Business School at Emory University, Atlanta, GA.
Matthew HunterIndependent Non-Executive Director
Matthew has in excess of 20 years' experience in the finance industry, most recently over 10 years' experience in private equity investment. Matthew is the founder and managing director of Rivendell Capital, which arranges private equity investments and provides advisory services. Prior to founding Rivendell Capital, Matthew was Managing Director of global private equity firm, The Carlyle Group, during which time he served on the Board as a Non-Executive Director of both Coates Hire and Healthscope, two of the largest private equity transactions in Australia. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons), Accounting and Finance from The University of New South Wales.
James SpenceleyNon-Executive Chairman
James is an award-winning entrepreneur and experienced company director, and is the Founder and former CEO of ASX listed Vocus Communications (ASX:VOC), Australia’s 4th largest telecommunications company with annual revenues of A$1.8 billion. James started Vocus in 2007 with A$1 million of capital and when he stepped down as CEO in February 2016, the company was an ASX100 business with a market capitalisation of over A$5 billion. James is the Chairman of online job sharing platform Airstaker and former owner of the Illawarra Hawks basketball team. James recently co-founded MHOR-Asset Management, an Australian small capital investment fund and has twice been recognised as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year award winner.
Michael BassettIndependent Non- Executive Director
Michael has over 25 years direct experience in investment markets having held a variety of senior management roles in Australia and the United Kingdom. Over the duration of his career he has developed an in depth understanding of the small cap market concentrating on ASX listed companies outside the Top 100. Michael worked as a Portfolio Manager for the very successful Regal Australian Small Companies Fund. Prior to this he worked as Head of Equities for Credit Suisse Emerging Companies and Head of Institutional Equity Sales at Credit Suisse Australia and has held senior positions at Deutsche Asset Management and Merrill Lynch. He is currently the Managing Director of a market consultancy business that works with Boards and Senior Management in developing market strategies. Over his career he has been involved with countless small companies, analysing, advising and raising capital for them. Michael holds a Bachelor of Economics with majors in Accounting and Finance and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
